You will certainly have an FSA chainset on a BB30 bike in that price range.
They are ok though. Maybe Rogan's housemate has Cav thighs.

Yes Hugo, cycle scheme it is! Having the cash to hand would have been ideal really

Took the BMC TMR01 for some pretty miserable laps of Regents Park tonight.
The 58 that they ordered for me arrived with a broken seat tube so I rode the 56.
Interestingly whenever I gave it some power I slid forward until I was perched on the very nose of the saddle.
Who can tell me why? Same saddle (Arione) as my other bikes (which this does not happen on).

Passing the entrance to the zoo I think I was putting out about 11,000 watts and going at 4mph

Do you have a longer stem than normal and are pulling hard on the bars when pushing? Seems strange.

Could it have moved your downstroke in front of the BB due to the shorter top tube?

No, stock bars and stem, (bars were too narrow for me) I was only loosely holding the bars when pedalling, then ended up having to push against them to stop moving up the saddle

Erm, not sure. I do have an inline post on my road bike now with very little BB to saddle nose setback, I did wonder if I was just automatically moving to that position.

• #4793
You probably did if you haven't done anything to the saddle setback.

Saddle angled down slightly.

It was slightly up actually... Sliiiiiiiiightly.
-
• #4796
Yep, as Tenners says it was very slightly nose up - I stopped to check halfway through my ride.
Girl arms- I don't spend as much time on them as Iain, but I've paid my dues in the gym.

You're probably going to have an FSA chainset on most bikes in that price range.
Are you buying on the cycle to work scheme / similar?
£750 second hand buys you a lot.
