So the house MacBook Air is/has died (is making omnious bleep bleep sounds that are apparently something to do with the motherboard dying or something equally major)
Whilst we save to replace it, thinking of getting a netbook for interim - essentially it just needs to be able to surf the web, Office applications bonus but not essential and watch telly on it and work with an ancient Garmin, for as cheaply as possible.
Any one got any top tips/recommendations/horror stories?
