To be honest, you can't really go wrong with both of them, it is really up to you if you want to fork out almost twice the price for this year's model. For me the only reason why I went for this year's bont shoes is mainly because of the looks and that the strap actually goes around all the laces instead of just the top part. (just my person opinion for better support around the foot) Hope this helps! =)
