  • Wow.

  • Love that siding - industrial architecture thread >>>

  • It was Jan 2010 when I uploaded this crap potatochop of how that would look with a proper rear wheel. Knowing the nature of this thread, that probably means it's been reposted another 3 times since then

This was posted by Zeeburg yesterday.

It could be a bit chunky and slow shifting for a road bike, yet it's not got clearance or gearing for cx. What's it's use?

    ooo-er, i like a lot.

Paintjob is a risky one as is so it probably doesn't need the red hub(s) and gumwall tyres adding in random colours.

    Great bike though

  • Bling bling rear wheel

It's so nasty but I've got to say I'm kinda into it

Gravel Racer, Strade Bianche, Pave, Sportive bike for people who realise that comfort and security are performance attributes. I could have used something like this for the first leg on the F11/10 on Monday :-)

Putting ~30mm tyres on a road bike opens up all sorts of paths that can help to eliminate boring main roads from your training loops.

  • Cheers

    You're welcome.

    It can do this too...

...all of which I appreciate. I'd want a wider range or gears (for the adventurous stuff) and modern shifting (for the fast stuff) if it were mine.

  • I suppose the advantage of downtube levers is that you can still change gear after you've thrown it down the gravel path a few times.

  • True.

where do you put the ironing board then?

Yep, it is perfect for that. Clearance is not an issue on hard-packed fire roads or single track that doesn't tend to get muddy.
