Recommend me a good bike shop that do repairs in my area?

Im a new kid in town, and need some repairs done, im living in the south east so around this area.

tried Brixton cycles and they are dead sound, but I cant make the 9am cycle syrgery. also herne hill cycles have stopped doing repairs.

need a new chainset/crank fitting.

can anyone reccommend me a good bike shop that do repairs in my area?

I use Strattons on 101 East Hill Wandsworth/ Clapham border near the common. It's a small lbs with a great mechanic called Paul who used to race. Sorry it's not nearer though.

If you are south east (but you sound more south) I recommend perrys cycles in Woolwich, very nice owner / mechanic reasonable prices.

yeah ive heard they are good but take a while to sort you out as very popular. i use my bike daily so would like a quick turnaround if possible. will give them a call though thanks

What about north London, anybody got recommendations?

Came off my bike the other day, need to true the wheels and check everything is ok.

Might give the Future, Cycle Training place a visit unless I'm better off going to Holloway Road or somewhere else.

bare in mind anywhere is probably gonna have a bit of a wait for repairs, as everyone has just dusted the bikes off and want to ride now the sun is shining!

I ended up going to the nearest one out of convenience, the Future Cycles Shop. He didn't manage to get the job done properly, saying that it was the best he could do! (My dad took it along when I was at work so couldn't pull him up about the unfinished work)

So I went to Hadron Cycles at the bottom of Hornsey Road on the Sunday and explained the situation. They said the other guy didn't do the job properly, took the bike off my hands and got it back to me the next morning with trued wheels and adjusted brake alignment. They only charged me for one wheel, so happy there. Can't say the same about Future Cycles.
