Hey man,
Just came across this thread (bump btw) - do you have any more info on frame material here? I have a near identical model (1981) and I'm keen to find out more.

I had one recently and sold it on here for £20.
They are not made from 531 tubing. They are not light frames. Poor paint adhesion, comparatively.
A fine product but nothing to get excited about really. -

Seat Tube (ctc): 58cm
Top Tube : 58cm
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 50mm)
Seatpost size: 26.8mm
Nice solid fillet brazed road frame from around 1980. See pics for details, could do with some new paint ans has a very slight dint (tried to photograph it but it's hardly noticeable).
