  • So have I, that doesn't mean doing it on gears won't be much funner though...

  • You guys have scuppered my plans to do it brakless on 90 GI with a discwheel. disappointed.

  • in on the fuji, will be running 48x17

unless it turns into a roadie douchebag ride in which case i'm out.

  • tempted..

  • Brakeless with risers and 66gi doesn't really lend itself for going in a straight line for longer than 5 minutes.

    have you considered cycle training?

  • I'd really like to join this. I just moved over from Sydney & brought my bike but have not done nearly enough riding lately.

  • Fuckidy fuck, working.

  • No need for that kink past the hospital at the end, stay on the guided busway right to the station, straight on through the station car park and you pop out on Devonshire Road.

If you come off the busway early you don't get to do the long-road-bridge-to-hill-road-bridge sprint. It's perfectly smooth, no cars and you can go four abreast for the finish.

I'm very much on dad duty tomorrow, otherwise would have got the train down and ridden back up. :(

  • Awwww, decisions, decisions.
    choice is:
    A) bbq with lots of local friends
    B) riding all day with a bunch of unknown misfits

if I'm coming I'll be waiting for you at the jct of forest rd/epping rd

  • hmm, cocktails tonight at chill manners...And I just got back from cycling to Tonbridge.

But maybe i'll do this. Will be gatecrashing the hhsb crew by rocking my ugly gt once again.

would meet up at lea bridge road at 10 work? on the bridge?

  • You mean the bridge just before the ice stadium? That's seconds from my place..... That'd work for me too (if tonight stays booze free)!

  • If the pub in Furneaux Pelham is closed I recommend The Axe & Compasses just down the road in Braughing. It is all downhill from Furneaux. My chain broke going up it. The pub has allen keys for the chaintool as well.

  • Last question.

Is this a HHSB slide or a roadie ride?

  • hmmm - i'ff im not on the bridge at 10, don't wait around. If i am, i will make it obvious I wanna join you!

  • Ok, kin and I are having to bail. Very sorry! May or may not have been due to an over consumption of alcohol on one or both of our behalves. Will definitely meet for another ride soon! Have fun. Updated...

  • Can't do two days in a row breakless...

  • Last question.

Is this a HHSB slide or a roadie ride?

social ride. If you can't talk while cycling, you're going too fast.

  • ^Out.

  • I'm out, arranged to meet my GF before I heard about this.

More warning before the next and I'll be there.

  • Morning! I'll be on fixed whatever everyone else rides.
Meeting point is the basketball courts on the part of brick lane north of bethnal green road.
If anyone gets lost, my number is oh seven 9 double seven 309 zero 2 six

see you in a few hours

  • I will be coming I have decided. Despite trying to find an excuse not to...
