Thinking of taking the plunge on this frame, being offered at £195, need a replacement frame sharpish after discovered big crack almost all the way around a seatstay on my rat. Lugwork looks lovely

• #1204
is that big dingage on the tt? and non original forks?
seems a big price for that -
• #1205
Yeah I thought so too, but I need something seriously sharpish unless I want to walk to work

Dillemma: I got a pair of Nisi Torino wheels (difficult to identify rim it's a road rim) on NR 32H record hubs in reasonable state, wear but still useable for quite some time, Nisi sticker missing on back wheel but a matching pair.
To fix them I need some rear spokes as spokes are rubbed down, and a new rear 32H hub. Front hub OK...but not super duper.
I can take the whole thing apart and sell the rims. Or sink some money in and fix.
But...how much should I really spent?
How much are such rims worth on their own?I don't like stripping/selling but there's a point where things are Beyond Economic Repair.

ok, i got another good bike to sell on behold of a friend back home in Treviso.
It's a smallish (50st 52tt) Pinarello Treviso i guess from late 80s (according to the cable route), campagnolo nuovo record group 8 speed (except for the lever, they are shimano 105). Campagnolo hubs on tubular mavic rims.
A little bit dusty but the conditions are awesome, how much is worth? here some pictures:

How much is the going rate for a S951 Red Crankset with 50/36 Red rings on it? Maybe 500 miles on them, a few superficial scratches to the coating.
Hopefully I can sell it and make enough to cover some Rotor 3D+ and Q rings.

Thinking about getting rid of this,
Its a Cougar frame in Reynolds 531 designer select (or somthing that sounds like that, i cant remember). Frame come with mudguard eyelets and mounts for a rear rack. The paint was rough when I got it so I had it powder coated on the cheap. Its a pretty good job but there are no a few scratches on it.
Its built up with a new stronglight a9 headset and a shimano un55 bottom bracket.
Groupset is almost entirely Shimano RX100, excluding the shifters which are ultegra 600. Wheels are rx100 hubs with mavic cxp10 rims.
Stem and bars by 3t, no name seatpost, saddle either a spoon of a brown brook b17 narrow.
Any idea how much this is worth, i'd like to keep it but I haven't ridden it since building another bike up.

How much would people pay for a full mid '80s Campag Victory groupset in good nick?

Any ideas as to what these Campagnolo Super Record (40161 v2) brakes might be worth, realistically?

sorry if this isn't the correct place for this kind of thread - i'm not sure of the etiquette here..
I'm thinking of buying this bike, but not sure exactly of what kind of deal i might be getting, and whether its worth it (although i guess all this is subjective)..
Its mainly campag parts on it and the frame is in pretty good shape
I've always wanted a colnago and came across this one for sale kind of randomly...what do you guys think??? im being asked for £700 for it,which i think seems pretty fair, but I just wanted to check here with people that know more than me, before i went ahead with it..also, would anyone here be able to tell the age or model range it is ...from jsut these photos? the guy who's selling it isn't sure...im pretty sure it's not just any old frame with decals put on it because of the embossed lugs..

Some early or lower end models didnt have a clover cut out on the BB.
Check the seat stay cluster and lugs for embossing as well as the fork crown.
Has that been resprayed?
-
• #1224
thanks man...dont think its been resprayed but im not sure to be honest...ive bought it now anyway. cant wait to get it!!!

OG xt index+friction thumbies? Decent nick, used but presentable and still work great.
Fixed your pics for you.
