Thinking about a Thomson layback aswell, I may need the extra mm's for long rides....
Colts have very thick leather and due to the shape would take an awesome lot of wear to wear them - if you see what I mean. I doubt you'd get any benefit from a new one. The shape is similar to a turbo to give you an idea of feel.
Besides the fact that Thomsons belong on MTB's and HHSB's it'll look epicly out of place on this beauty.
