By which I mean to say, please go create a "Tattoo advice for morons and children" thread. Feel free, in there, to assume that anybody who posts is a feckless child who needs to be told "Now, did you think this through?". And keep it there. The rest of us can avoid it in the same way we ignore the helmet thread.
But when somebody comes here to talk about their combined interest in fixed gear (which we all think is awesome by default) and tattoos (which we all think are awesome apart from the trolls), please show them some respect, at least as your starting position. Me, I'm going to assume that even if he later develops an exclusive passion for recumbent unicycles, he's going to remember his fixed period with some fondness and the tattoo will be a memento.
