I feel that way a bit about people who get swastikas tattooed on them with the story about what they used to mean.
Yes thats what they meant, but in this part of the world, Western Europe, where we live, they mean something else.
Soz, but not that bothered if peeps know or ask me the back story, to swastikas I have lots of Sayagata, tattooed about my person & as a mixed race guy, I do get some odd looks if peeps look close enough at my tats, lol, but hey I got the design coz I like it, no other reason
I like my tattoos because I like the imagery, no bullshit back story needed. If you're getting tattooed to be fashionable then that's a hard thing to keep up with and you'll probably end up with a right mish mash of styles. If you have them and you're happy with them then fair enough, no need to be precious about it I reckon.
