Anyone got a bike shaped object knocking about for free/beer? Work mates had his and his mrs's "MTB" nicked off there balcony in sale and poor lads having to trek in.
Cheers -

I've got an old shit heap in the basement with no wheels going free.
-
• #4730
yeah, it does, it's been briefly mounted on a bike with 700c wheels and the struts have been cut down and re drilled as they were about 3" too long.
Jumping in a bit, but does this come with the struts/necessary moutning hardware?

Me and the ladyfriend would certainly be interested in a bike jumble if there's ever one around Manchester. Regular or not. )

OK, moving flat soon and I've got bits to get rid of...
27" front and rear wheels, cheap (Raleigh) things but fine. Front may need some truing. rear hub is freewheel and comes with complimentary 6 speed rear sprockets. £10?
[strike]27" steel rims, Lyotard, great for a retro wheel build... will upload a pic
[/strike] Silly me - these are 700c so my OH dibs them.27 x 1 1/4 Continental Gatorskins, pair. Couple of years old but probably < 500 miles on them. Condition looks good, with only a few cuts. Only had one puncture - front tyre, thanks to glass in the village. £15 for pair?

looking for 2nd hand road shoes for a reasonably cheap price
And also does anyone know what pedals they've got on the do land at the velodrome? Cheers -
• #4736
Not that I have any but a size might be helpful.
-
• #4737
Shit! Ahah, cheers for the heads up. And 9 - 9 1/2 is the size I'm looking for. Does the actual fit vary much shoe to shoe?
-
• #4738
Between the left and right? Not so much.
-
• #4739
^^^^ Look Delta on the velodrome Dolans.

I meant make to make, or is the sizing pretty similar in all? -
• #4741
Sorted out shoes. And on that note has anyone got any look delta cleats going and compatible pedals. (Cleats are the most important) cheers
-
• #4742
They've got the delta red cleats in cycle surgery at the mo. I've got some spare delta pedals, quite worn and one side bearing feels a bit crunchy, I haven't been able to source the tiny bearing size needed to hopefully repair...

What size are you bearings are you after. I've a friendly bearing supplier. Is it loose balls you're after? I could bring to mcr thurs will be at the powerhouse playing polo.
-

They're mega tiny. I emailed Look hq and the Uk distribution contact but no response. Much smaller than the smallest hole on my spoke & bearing gauge ruler thingy. If I can find out I'll give you a shout. Thanks.

are they rideable without the new bearings?
-
• #4748
I reckon so, but no assurances on how long they'd last.
-
• #4749

tenner?
Two pairs of handlebars I no longer need (due to stem change and shop wankery)
1) 3TTT Superleggero 26.0mm clamp / 40cm width
2 ) Cinelli Campione Del Mondo 26.0mm clamp / 38cm width (old cinelli shield)
£25 for either bars.
If anyone around the Manchester area is interested I'd prefer to not post them. But otherwise I'll list 'em in classifieds with pics later.
