Writing this may help me realise there is a problem and force an overdue sell off.
Track:
80 Peracinni - Super Record - Last Ridden Track Day September 2010
81 Ti Raleigh - C Record - Last Ridden West Drinks July 2010
90s 3Rensho - Sakae Rinkyo - Last Ridden Tweed Run November 2011
90s Corrado - MAVIC - Last Ridden GSIAD May 2012
83 Merckx - Dura Ace - Last Ridden West Drinks April 2012
80s Ciocc - Super Record - Never Ridden - Purchased July 2011Road:
80 Merckx - MAVIC SSC - Last Ridden Tweed Run April 2013
93 Cinelli - Super Record - Last Ridden Waifs & Strays Xmas 2011Sold the Dolan tandem last spring without riding it.
And still buying bike parts monthly despite a closet full of hens teeth.
Can't imagine selling anything but that's probably what will happen.
I'd throw a pretty penny at that 83 Merckx or that 80's Ciocc. I'll take your obsession and run with it.

Sorry, can't help.
Witcombs were the original cause of my addiction, so will be the last to be sold.
I am always looking, so if I see something, I'll let you know.
Alternatively, could be worth speaking to the lovely people at Union Cycle Works in Deptford.
Good luck.

• #560
No worries! I'm only half looking, but as I live just down from Deptford and I've owned stuff by most of the guys around here (Tommy Quick built 2 mins away from my house) but never a Witcomb. I'd love a 'London set', to be honest...
-
• #561
Hmm,
Quick, Youngs, Gillot, Witcomb, Paris...
I'd need a bigger shed for that.
-
• #562
Are we counting Roberts as London?
-
• #563
I would say no. (Great builder though).
-
• #564
Croydon though? Pretty much London...
-
• #565
Surrey (sorry).

I have 3...
2 x Globe Roll 2's ...and a tat Viking!
I orig got a Globe...then decided to get a beater (the Viking) for the commute. Made it look alright (IMO) with leather saddle and leather wrapped bulhorns - I put a front rack on so it looked a bit like a butchers bike and it fit a bag on it alright too!
But pretty much EVERY component failed on the Viking (as you would expect) but this at least gave me the opportunity to ‘fix my own bike up’ something I hadn’t done since I was in my teens! Ultimately I replaced everything down to the frame and wheels...and when a rim let go on my way to work last week I decided enough was enough and got another Globe 2 (mega discounted) as I knew I liked the bike already! This is now going to be my project and is currently at a metal finishers having the chipped/scratched frame sorted - this was the reason I got it cheap! Was that too boring? Sorry if so...
