So Froome has a jolly good titter about the absurdity of Kiryienka or Costa leading the team, both bloody awesome riders in their own right.

He's starting to strike me as a bit of a smug prick.

Kosta in this case = Konstantin Sioutsou, his team mate. He's implying that his two team mates have been so strong this year that they can ride the rest of the Tour peleton off their wheels.

Poking fun at himself, as he is here, shows he's not that smug.
