Please tell me this one is not worth more than the selling price, I couldn't be bothered to stay/get up for the auction end time of 4am and in my ignorance had not heard of Pogliaghi! Looking again it was probably worth buying for the groupset had it not been for the international postage cost ...

• sorry beeing an idiot dint relaise it was frame and fork only... still what is the frame worth ?

• what it got

• what it got

ha!

any really classy Italian frame 250 +, If it has Colnago, de Rosa etc then 350+
Record group, 300 +.
Record wheels, 200
Record / Cinelli Cockpit 120 , more if engraved etc

That' s the math...

• to zootsuit :
bike on ebay isnt Pogliaghi (its my opinion and im 99% sure)
pogliaghi dont have serial number on BB, but below seatpost, also dont have brake cable guides welded on frame, it have clips, it`s painted frame you can see on photo of bb, and there is tons of other thing that tells me that is not pogliaghi, anyway it is sold for 250GBP +shipping

and now about bike that i selling
my mistake it was size exact size is seat tube 58cm C-C, top tube is 57cm C-C
stem is Cinelli 1A 11cm lenght
handlebar is Cinelli 66 Campione del Mondo 40cm C-C

someone said:
"but does anyone know why they are so precious?"

i found this:
Sante Pogliaghi has probably been building bicycle frames longer than any other master builder. He is 62 years old and he started building when he was 11! He worked with his Uncle Brambilla, a famous frame builder of the 1920s. When his uncle died in 1947, Sante Pogliaghi continued building frames but now they appear with the Pogliaghi label.
In Italy, and especially in Milan, Pogliaghi is called the master tailor of the bicycle." He has custom-fitted frames for many world-class -riders like Sercu, Merckx, Fagin, as well as Italian champions like Baghetto, Nunzi, and Rossi. If you would like Pogliaghi to build a frame, you had better give him your order soon as he plans to retire by 1980. The process is somewhat difficult since Pogliaghi only speaks Italian. We recommend that you order a frame through one of the many bicycle stores throughout the United States that deal directly with Pogliaghi. Because of his ability to custom-design a frame to an individual rider's physique and racing specialty, there is a long waiting list for a Pogliaghi custom frame. Recognizing that not everyone will necessarily be interested in a Pogliaghi frame, Signore Pogliaghi recommends other Italian builders in Milan whom he believes are superb craftsmen: Cinelli and De Rosa.

And to all guy that ask me for some smaller price - 850 euros is bottom price, if i dont sell it i would be happier. Im sell it becouse i have too much bikes. Im collecting speed bicycles and right now i have too much of it and i dont have any more space for it.

• Rationale like that ^^^^ is a bit sort of redolent of our Gumtree 'traders'.

• Still for sale?

• Probably is sold, in Serbia is Easter holiday this weekend so im not at home till Monday and i can't check shipping options...

• Rationale like that ^^^^ is a bit sort of redolent of our Gumtree 'traders'.

What exactly is that meant to mean?

• What exactly is that meant to mean?

It means that justifying a sale with intangibles adds no value, so tends to detract.
That's just my take, having bought and sold many many things 'with wheels' over the last 30 years...

• What a beautiful bike !
