Thought I may as well posts this.
Here is the marathon ride.
http://app.strava.com/activities/49832379
Not as quick as I was expecting it to be at all, still a blast on near empty roads with few stops, no punctures or real falls but we did get a little lost and skip some bits so it came in a little under 26 miles.

We should have probably given it another 20 mins before setting off so we'd have actually caught the closed roads and I could've got up at half 3 instead of 3 :-)
As it was I had a fine 3 hour afternoon nap. -

Yeah that may have been better, maybe we could have averaged 20 then :)
I didn't have an afternoon nap, straight to the ride south for me.

this is a super lame question,
on the last 28 days activity display (on the mobile app) are miles taken of at the exact time they were completed 28 days ago or is this rounded to the nearest whole day.
this has puzzled me, but I don't really care all that much.

I think if I'd have gone to the ride south I'd have fallen asleep face down in my first pint

Just my 8km commute home from work and I'll have finally completed a Strava challenge...
-
• #2058
I'm short ~350km, that'd definitely be the long way home.
-
• #2059
I'm short too, but I've hit the level that I intended to hit. Next months challenge will be about right.
-
• #2060
I've spent hardly any time on the bike this month, so I reckon I'll finish on ~960km.
Hoping to do more next month.
-
• #2061
You guys clock up some distance!
I'm 550km short. In my defence, I was on holiday for a week, but still I've been riding centuries, chaingangs, before work etc.

challenges?
fuck that slippery slope

mm came in at 122%

Bloody thing wouldn't pick up GPS today. Cut the ride in by 4mi and the ride home just didn't start, gave up and turned it off after 6mi

At a meeting today, finished early, On the Brompton, thought i'd ride part the way home. Rochdale Canal for it's length. Whats with all the segments? some only a 1' long?

mm came in at 122%
Well done, I finished on 977km, or 74%
-
• #2067
Ouch, April's finished already? I only logged 283km, though I probably rode about 320km more including commutes and small rides. Not a good month for long rides.
-
• #2068
450km short - not too bad I suppose, given that it was 100% commutengering
-
• #2069
200km short. In hindsight I could have done this, but I didn't do enough miles early on in the month.
-
• #2072
I see you don't lean
-
• #2073
That is not me, but I ride with the guy.

I just noticed that the leader boards can be filtered by club and that there's an LFGSS one.
Makes it possible to rank forumengers by distance ridden in the May challenge, for example -
• #2075
I just joined the club to see where I am.
Yeah, which changes everything. I know my height in imperial but my weight in metric...
