Normal bike reaming, in any of the "holes" (ooh er missus) is just to clear up the surface a little bit. Either if the surface is uneven or needs to be enlarged by a small amount (less than 1mm). It isn't for chopping out the remnant's of seized seatposts. There would be much better ways of doing such a thing.
