Sorry, I've got loads to do this weekend so can't make it. PhD applications, essays and exams are all combining to make time a bit tight.

  • I'm sat in The Window. Alone.

Weather put you off guys? :-)

  • My f****** free wheel decided to die on the way in so I was late. I'm still around.
^ Have just PM'ed you my mobile number

  • I failed miserably and only just woke up, sorry I didn't let you guys know. Next time for sure.

  • No worries. It didn't really happen due to due my mechanicals^^

Will sort another one out some time.

  • Saturdays rather than Sundays for me fwiw

  • Also, a bit OT but I wondered whether it would be feasible and in everyone elses interest to start organising a monthly Norwich Alley Cat again?

I'll admit to not having the first clue about what needs to go on from an organizing point of view but I'm happy to do whatever I can. I reckon we could have a good crack

  • Yeah, well up for planning an alleycat after the christmas break

  • I'd be up for riding in an alley, no idea about organisation though

  • Wont be able to make a proper coffee ride this week but will probably be riding into the city Sat for some xmas shopping, if anyone fancies meeting up at The Window for a swifty.

  • Bump.

Found a new coffee place after a head's up from Alex @ Strangers called Little Haven:

Will have to visit a few mores times but the espresso came out strong and dark. Would be good with milk I would think.

  • First post here. Hi guys!

I work at a coffee shop opposite john lewis on all saints green called clever dicks. I'd love to join one of these coffee rides if anyone wants to get them going again? Im always fired up on about 4 shots of espresso by the time i finish a saturday shift anyway..

  • Welcome to the forum, 12ounce, what you ride?

an raleigh steel frame that ive been working on for quite a while, fixed. And a Giant Defy 2 for longer journeys. No fancy parts at the moment, cant afford it!

  • Hopefully the weather should start doing us right soon so we can resume these. Well, I say resume ... first ride never quite got off the ground did it jdp? ;-)

Nahh, the curse of the fragged freewheel. Definitely an epic fail.

12ounce - what beans are you using at Clever Dicks? I've never been in.

We get ours from Has Bean. Currently running the jabberwocky but we do regularly have some single origin guest blends. Im working on saturday if you fancy popping in! Unfortunately some of the staff on other days arent so passionate about coffee.

  • Cool, I'll defifnitely pop in soon (might not be this Saturday) if you're using Hasbean. Not tried the Jabberwocky bit did have some Wote natural a while ago which was lovely.
Currently drinking this which is pretty good.
