my mate just built up a Dolan...

I've just received a Pre Cursa frame, this is my first build. I haven't had a bike in a while and before that I was riding an old Raliegh I'd had for about 10 years, so I'm a little bit inexperienced in this to say the least.
Okay, my point: There seems to be 2 dents where the right hand seat stay and chain stays are slightly flattened out towards the wheel end, I've found a picture online and I'm not 100% sure, but it seems to be the same on that frame too. So before I call up Dolan and make myself look light a right dick, I thought I'd ask on here first.
If someone could let me know if this is normal or not I'd be forever grateful.
Here's the picture I found on line.

Yes the flat section is also on mine.

If it's a new frame - send it back.

I'll send it back if it turns out there's something wrong with it, don't want to send it back if it's supposed to be this way, why I'd look a right tit.
Here's a close up of it:

It's normal for the ends of the right seat and chain stay to be flattened at the point where they meet the dropout so that the chain doesn't rub on them.

Spot the troll...
To be fair, his description is laughably poor before his 2nd picture.

I agree, I really didn't do a very good job of describing what I was talking about, and with the information at hand it did seem like sending the frame back was an option. As a new member to the forum making a first post asking a stupid question I was very grateful for all the replies I got.

Just about built up my FXE, what colour chromoplastics you reckon, black or silver?

Recommended headset for pre cursa? Never had integrated before.

• #1073
Did you order the frameset, or you somehow aquired a frame? (if former - they come with headset, seatpost, and seatclamp).

Latter, hence my question
Less rake - slower handling (idea for track).
More rake - faster handling (idea for road).
Up to you.
