  • It would be nice if the photos made it clear the tags are in the same place...

  • Sorry, that photo wasn't great and you can only just make out the shelter over the top of the wall. In my defence, my photographer was reluctant to go into the dark car park at that hour. Here's one that does at least show the flats with 16t sprocket behind.

Apologies also for not picking up on the fascinating history of the structure; thanks for the extra info Crop.

  • 'In the event of a power failure the pumps can be manually operated by pedal power with three purpose built 'bicycle' type frames mounted on concrete plinths, two at the front of the room side by side and the third at the rear. The rear 'bicycle' still retains its seat and drive chain. '

    ace!

  • Old: Pringle Factory outlet, Chatham Place/Morning Lane. Part of the new factory outlet hub thing, you can see Aquascutum in the background. I liked the clue...

New: If you know Blake's poetry and Doherty's songs, you'll know the name. But it's a quite different literary figure that resides here.

  • Old: Albion Square Gardens

    New:

  • this is fast moving today - I'm yet to leave home and my destination, to the site of the tag, keeps changing!!

  • .. And is now unknown, clue please!

  • Sorry Howard!

Clue 1: Two of Ed's favourite things.

Clue 2: Nothing to do with spacers, audaxing or ridiculous saddle angles.

  • Condescending cock?

  • Not sure if you know how close you are.

  • Nice work, all. At this point, I should lay down a challenge to Northwest, South and West London to perhaps try to reclaim BToB. :)

  • But those places are far away!

  • Let's just challenge them so they get off their lazy arses and ride their bikes to our tags so that we can then get off our lazy arses and ride our bikes to their tags. :)

  • I thing they should do all their tagging out east seeing as they have made the journey. No point waiting till they get home to do a new tag.

  • We could always tagzump them while they're still riding home. (They don't have smartphones out there yet, do they? Thought not.)

  • What there are lfgss people all over London. Not just east-north east?

  • They live in caves down there and they don't have too many bikes, but yes.

  • From a cock and bull story

    To the temple of truth

  • Where's the cock?

  • Just trying to find it on the map, but around devonshire square. I think it was the trade entrance to The Bull pub (I may be very wrong). edit: definitely very wrong.

    Around here

  • Damn, wish i'd checked this thread before i left work last night.
The massive cock is on a little alley called Cock Hill, between Middlesex Street and New street. I don't know which came first though, the chicken or the street name.

I this the doorway is the back door/fire exit for the Marco Pierre White steakhouse.

Not sure about the new tag yet, but i fancy a quick spin so off to google i think.

  • Should be fairly easy. should have checked google first

  • Nice one. The Cock was at Cock Hill. Just off Catherine Wheel Alley, E1.

  • Very nice that the Cock tag is got by michaelcox. I also note that my challenge has been successful. :)

Well done, Michael, and don't worry too much about the ease of searching for it. It's fine to have a clue right in the picture.
