The design of the fat frame looks nice. Having a custom fat Ti frame made myself by Triton in Russia. They've been pretty amazing to work with.
The tubing these budget Russian manufacturers use is of nice enough quality AFAIK, but probably not butted. If that important. There is a large manufacturer of Ti frames in Russia with a bad rep. There's a pic of a road bike with the mech hanger on the left drop-out for example. So worth checking where their production is located.

Habanero are cheap may still be to expensive tho, like 1000 usd for frame (prolly more if custom) Have no experience with them but others seem to be satisfied. Think they outsource the actual labor to china. Might be cheaper to go direct to asia.
Do you really need custom? Id buy a used brand name over a new unheard of (but thats me). So many nice deals on used bikes these days.
Edit: looking abit at the rtf frame n fork, i wouldent be suprised if thats the same factory that builds for burls (and kocmo).

I enquired to Titan in China as well. They could'nt make my frame because the specialist parts. But they seem to do decent work for the cost.

That fat bike looks great, i assume Titan Russia is unrelated to Titan China.
Does anyone know if the reference to colnago on the RTF website infers that they manufacture frames for other brands and thus have the prerequisite skill.
Or is it buyer beware? -

Or is it buyer beware? Its Triton in Russia, and X'ian Titan in China. So yes no relation.
The grades of tubing are different to what we are used to. The standard grades of Ti used in 'the west' are Ti 3AL/2.5V and the pricier Ti 6AL/4V. Triton use a grade common in Russia, Ti 4Al/l.5Mn, maybe RTF use the same? seems likely. Apparantly this is a grade used in China too. The internet is full of stiffnes analysis for the western grades relating to bike frame use. But nought regarding the 'eastern' grades.
Dont ask what all this means, I'm a polymer scientist, not a metal expert. Just sharing some info.
