Tube socks?? :p
Is it the black and white colour scheme?I think it's the nicest mercian frame i've seen!
You've not seen mine ;)
Ha - but seriously, I think I would just prefer it if the seat and chain stays were bear. just having that little bit of stainless on the drop out makes it look odd, at least for me, would like to see it built though.
Now this little beauty... more to my taste... and definitely a repost...
I also have a guilty pleasure for this frame, just not the way its built...

Yeah those mercians are both great, particularly the top one (which is a forumers right?)
If the mercian i posted had mudguard mounts+clearance, and some rear rack mounts I'd be in heaven.

Both my Brooks(1 new when I bought it b17 and an ancient one that I knifed into a razor thin number) sit almost perfectly level and feel just fine. We're all different I guess.
Stonkingly nice bike, might rando up one of the old french racers down at my folks place in Dijon for funsies. For me it's the practical and personal touches that make them such lovely bikes. Love the dyno routing, makes my electrical tape job look utterly gash. -

Has anyone else seen that Stork hanging just inside the door in the bike shop at the Cyclo park in Gravesend?? It's completely stunning. Pretty much all Tune parts. It is something to behold. £10,500 the bloke told me.
I was didn't get a picture. Sorry :-(

Indeed, some were able to feel "planted" on a levelled Brooks while other feel like they're sliding forward, like this
which is more extreme than mine. -
