What is a hipster? Look at this fucking hipster...

It makes no sense to me. Ordinary folk don't perch atop a bus stop when ruminating on how backward their lives are, so there's no obvious contrast with hipsters deliberately doing the opposite by reclining on a kerb being all forward thinking. I can't think of much more normal than having a sit down. Good view that low down too, gives them a scrawny rats eye perspective.
