Diving the list in order of sign-up is only useful if everybody turns up with plenty of time before the first train.
Do you do anything but moan?

I used to use the tow path for summer recovery rides but it's pretty busy with people before sun set on a warm spring afternoon.
It might be the shortest route, but probably not the quickest.
I was only intending on using the canal from lee valley road onwards as it's quite easy to pass from there to Waltham.
Not ridden the canal path much past Cheshunt lake, does it get mad thin after?

It's kind of standard for a tow path, with some wider sections along the route.

Bedwetting. Nothing in the legs today and a really strong, very specific craving for sausages and chips, which I'm going to go and deal with instead :)
Apologies.

I was in London, getting my train out at 7pm this evening, looking atthe beautiful weather and thinking 'I'm doing it wrong'. Have a great ride tonight chaps and chapettes.

20+ riders out on the black top, great to see lots of new faces keeping TNRC fresh and strong. A good pace and [whisper] no punctures, mechanicals or badger attacks [/whisper]. Only encounters were Friday the bat magnet and a few locals who dislike being stuck behind a large body of Lycra on a narrow road.
Nice sprint at the end and good vibes in the pub.
