Aende Racing/TT bike : Very aggressive geometry
The bike is '80's built Aende from the Nottingham workshop of Alan 'Pongo' Braithwaite. Built from Columbus Record steel.
55cm top tube C2C
The frame originally looked like this:
However, I have had the frame powder coated in gloss black by RPH powdercoating in Bristol for a tougher finish:
The bike is fitted with RODI Airline wheels (sealed bearing version) and respaced to 130mm in the rear triangle for ease of upgrades; note the coloured lug work and the 'columbus' logo on the fork crown.
3T MEX shape handlebars
ITM Goccia Stem (125mm)
Campagnolo Record headset
Shimano 600 Brake levers
Shimano 105 groupset (New bottom bracket)
7 speed + spacer for 10 speed hub
FSA SL-K carbon seatpost
Look delta pedals (3.1 version I think)
Rodi Airline sealed bearing wheelset
The bike does not need anything doing to it, if you are looking for a winter trainer, fast commuter or vintage steed for a retro feel; this this is pretty sorted. I planned to update it to Dura Ace 7402; if the price is right, I may give away the Dura Ace DT shifters I have for it.
The wheels in the picture have been sold on - they were awful!
I will keep the saddle!
Looking for ~£400 - collect from Uxbridge, please PM me.
