I asked him, re: the price, if he was on crack.
He didn't like that very much.

Sure... He is right to be angry! Crack is cheap sh*t, he's on something much more exclusive and expensive...

my rain jacket has gone off for repairs (2 small tears in the sleeve) has anyone had any experience with the repair guys and have any idea how long it might take?
It's been returned to me once as I forgot to wash it before sending it off to them....rapha stitching folk seem to be scared of a bit of mud........and sweat....... and blood -

I bought a set of 3/4$, it'll be no surprise to find they are nice but pricey.
£160 to be exact. I wore them twice riding an Aliante saddle so no embroidery and the stitching around the gusset area was shredded. Granted they replaced them but I was scunnered to receive a free postcard with my replacement, woohoo!
The speed of their postage is shocking too, #over the rapha thing.

@meek.tv they did a decent job on my softshell after I tried to fly on an icy Hell of the Ashdown a couple of years ago. Was about 2 weeks turnaround - I think they do pickups once a week from Perren Street.

Anyone used the Bordeaux-Paris Jersey yet? Someone on here had one at least. Might get one this Friday if the fit is good, with a view to longer rides coming up (borderline touring in parts).
It's basically the Brevet Jersey in different colours, so alternatively, has anyone used the Brevet? Thoughts?

Mamil here, its a lovely jersey. Heavier weight than a normal jersey so perfect for the next couple of months of english weather. I didn't pay full price and not sure its worth £130 IMO FWIW AFAIK. Most my jerseys are castelli £40 jobs.
The colour looks better in the flesh. -
