  • I hate you, I was holding off on that and hoping that I could post it tomorrow so as not to detract from the completely different edit I posted earlier!

  • ^ mwahaha.
    Those dudes go so hard!
especially the red bike four pegger and pegless man at the beginning

  • Eric Whitescarver made me want to take my pegs off, then Eric Schalles made me want to put them all back on again. That curved rail right at the end looks amazing.

I have thoroughly enjoyed every second of this 4 part SAF video. I need to sit down and watch them back to back. I spotted that it's being turned into a dvd as well (they had the premier on Mike Hoder's miniramp) so providing international shipping isn't a bitch they'll be getting an order.

  • Topical repost. Eric Schalles and Eric Whitescarver are Rosie and Ewip.

If you order I'll order with you and go halves on postage

  • I have a lot of love for The Spot, great to see it being ridden in your mate's edit.

This is a perfect summation of that video for me and something which has been in my head for a while.

Having a cassette, a freecoaster and anywhere from 0 to 4 pegs is a nice place to be. It means I can swap it up for a day at a time and just enjoy riding what's in front of me without anything feeling stale.

I've been riding 4 pegs for ages and as much fun as the freecoaster is I found a lot of my riding defaulted to well known peg tricks without making use of the new toy so much so that I'm currently back on the cassette.

It's definitely time I took them off and rode without pegs for a while, probably whilst swapping back and forth between the cassette and freecoaster.

  • I must get round to visiting The Spot. I even located it using google maps a little while back but just haven't got round to going yet.

I keep thinking maybe I should remove my pegs, but then I decide I'd only end up trying crank slides and I can continue to try them with a full set of pegs anyway so don't bother. I've been running a freecoaster for years and it's well and truly engrained into my riding style, I nibble on other peoples bikes with cassettes but I don't think I'd like to run one all the time.

Nice idea but I'm not in London so it wouldn't really make it any simpler.

  • After yesterday's musings I ended up pulling the pegs off when I got home last night.
I'm going to stick with the cassette for a week or three and just get used to being in the air. rather than playing around and never being more that a few feet off the ground.

Hit stockwell briefly on my way to work this morning. It's nice having a park that flows that well near home but it really highlights how much I have to learn.

  • Sorry for the incessant inner monologue;

I ended up back at stockwell this evening and had ended up really enjoying doing simple stuff and just learning how to float around the place without resorting to my staple peg tricks. New fun in a familiar setting as it were.

I'm going to stick like this for a few weeks then swap the back wheel over to the freecoaster and learn how to use it properly.

7 years ago. Still kicks fuck out of new edits.

  • It's been so long since I've seen that edit!

Theo Simpson's got skills. Here's his section in the Fashion video.

  • I've been stuck in the skateparks for the last few months and everyone's clocked a few decent clips. Here's my latest edit with loads of the locals and a few not so local riders.

  • I feel like I've killed the bmx thread with my edit. So here's Hoogerhyde busting out some mad rail ride lines, and Boy keeping it fresh with some lazy West Coast steeze.

  • I wish that was longer. The opposite wallride to pegs to over smith was the highlight to me.

This Nike Barcelona edit is absolutely ridiculous, well you wouldn't expect anything less with heavy hitters like Chad Kerley, Alex Kennedy and Simone Barraco. I don't want to give anything away but there's some crazy NDBs.

And Mastroni has filmed and edited this edit of Aaron Smith. Big hops and solid lines with a few Mastroni influenced spot choices make this a quality edit, oh and wait for the banger.

  • I was prepared to not like the Nike video as the sheer volume of videos made in Barcelona is becoming tedious. My preconception was wrong.
