  • So Ive done my time in the nursery and now I can start my first thread. Seems like a good time to introduce my new project, My first fixie conversion. Im on a budget so this wont be an over night job, anticipating the whole rebuild to take around 3-4 months in between assignments and work and family!! Cheers, here is the bike when I first got it.

  • Are you going to paint it/get it painted?

Yeah, getting it shot blasted and powder coated in a couple of weeks, im thinking light baby blue (RAL 5012) but not sure. If I could identify the frame I would look to see its orignal colours and stick to them (if I like it!!).

  • light baby blue

  • you know its friday..

  • On second thoughts, my colour choice may change to something less offensive ;)

  • So made the most of the sunshine today and fully stripped the bike down ready for the powder coaters. Had a bit of fun with the steering races! Once I did that turned my attention to the wheels, and found the rims to be in a right state, looks like I wont be re using them. Up goes the budget!
