Just got back from Rolla. Had a lot of fun on the ride, especially in and around Sheffield Park. Let's give claus a chance to tell his own version of the events concerning the train station ...
Sooo hilly--I was totally shagged out before the last couple of surprisingly serious climbs. Shame we didn't find a pub for a nice pub lunch. Next time we have to remember 12-2:30 ...
Great route choice, claus! Thanks for navigating and your confluential diligence!
Well done tika, who came out even though she was officially ill and still tore up the road, Sam, whose longest ride this was, Marco, who did brilliantly on the hills, and nonVoltarti, who stuck to us like a limpet. Great power riding up the steep bits from Texas, Gav, and claus.
Lovely riding with you all!

It's not too bad, it'll go down on its own either later today or tomorrow... I'll just take some ibuprofen and strap it up. How are your legs feeling today?

Thank you Claus for organising the ride, it was a great experience. Though it was out of my depth but I was grateful for the encouragement by you all.
Like the 'machine' said (Texas) when he stayed at the back, it won't get any easier but you will just get faster! I guess I just have to go out and do more rides to really appreciate the beauty of cycling. Thanks for your patience and totally enjoyed it.
Sparrow, take good care of your hand. Go and see a doctor on Monday and nurse it with ice for the time being. Good luck with your exams too.

yes - for sure. worst thing you can do is let it heal incorrectly and keep using it.
