Willing to split?

I offer you £500 and half of Newcastle if you set it on fire and post the visual proof.
On a serious note, does it really weigh 13kg? Kind of hard to believe
-
• #4
It's weighed down by irony.
-
• #5
Don't have time to split at the moment Distort, sorry.
I've only just gotten myself away from Newcastle so that's a definite no go.
and the weight I'm just quoting what's printed on the box

No interest in buying the bike but did you win this by getting one of the highest scores, or the lucky dip part?
-
• #7
I'm one of the lucky ones.

As LOLs as this build is, I think that's a great price and a generous donation to the forum so chapeau and good luck with the sale.

If I were you, I'd stick it on eBay for £1k. After all the promotion it's had through H&M I think there will be a queue of guys who want to be able to own "the" bike.
Just my thoughts !?

Tempted, as I need a new bike ASAP, but at the same time I know I'd had to swap the components so they don't get on my nerves) and can't really afford it right now.
Have a bump - a bargain for someone who wants an OTP bike. -

You, sir, have a PM!
-
• #12
what are you looking for as a part exchange?
-
• #13
Will get back to your PMs tonight when I get off work guys. Thanks for the interest. The part ex stuff, mainly a rear black Phil fix/fix, Rotor track cranks or black 75's in 165 and a black 53t Zen. Also looking for a full bike for the Mrs, something suitable for around 5'6 height.

this man has a plan.
-
• #15
The only thing is, those who own Rotor cranks or Phil Wood hubs wouldn't be the same to get a BMB frame and components.
-
• #16
that depends, what hub is it on the rear wheel? I've got some silver phil wood hubs laced to black dt swiss r2.1 deep rims.
-
• #17
The rear hub is a generic Fix/Free BLB hub. The ones I'm looking for need to be black :(

• #18
It does look pretty nice if i'm honest.

You bring shame on your name.
-
• #20
ssssssssssssssssssplit it
-
• #21
Before you split I'd put it on teh bay. Grens got a point, you could probably get a fair bit for it
-
• #22
Yeah isn't blb the birthplace of fixie culture?
-
• #23
That's the word on the street
-
• #24
sell it to BLB?
-
• #25
I really do think they put these massive price tags on all this stuff only to be able to hand it out to somebody and say 'you got 2k worth of kit over here'
Won this in the H&M competition but would prefer the cash so I can get my other build finished a bit sooner.
Looks like this
55cm roughly 13kg and like I say brand new, the only thing to mention is the bar ends are a bit scuffed from rubbing on the box in transit. Full spec is here.
Comes with both brakes, a bell, a nice little bag of reflectors, allen keys/wrench and a manual telling you that your stupid.
RRP is £1,290 which is a joke tbf, I'm looking for £700 ONO with 10% going to forum on sale. Also willing to part ex/trade (If you want to go down this route PM me)
Pickup in Cambridge or can deliver to London for the train fare ~£20. Also willing to post but I haven't got a ballpark of cost at the moment.
Edit: Just noticed the picture shows it with foot retention but I didn't see any in the box when I was poking around so if this is a deal breaker beware.
