Ken was a London cyclist from the 30's who owned a shop in Hounslow after the war. Was the driver/mechanic to Tommy Simpson and the British Tour De France Team on that fateful day on Mount Ventoux.
I have dated the frame to mid 60's, 65-66, based on comparisons with other bikes. Records are kept by his daughter but not publicly available.
Likely to be a Holdsworth due to proximity of shop to factory and his known acquisitions from Holdsworth.
Reynolds 531 double butted.
Doesn't include pictured Arabesque front mech - just frame.
Campag dropouts
Fittings for mudguards
New Tange headset
Threads in BB shell good
Paint job not original so i don't think people could accuse you of killing puppies if you wanted a new coat..
£70
pick up from belsize park/swiss cottage/ hampstead heath or can bring to dalston for Sundays.
