No offense but gloves are a rubbish eg. Rapha are hardly known for their gloves. Also for me they are highly personal. I always have to try almost every glove in the shop and am lucky if I have two to make a buying choice from. But maybe I'm just a unique snowflake.
Jerseys and base layers would be better eg. But even then I don't agree. Until Torm I wasn't aware of any merino wool blend jerseys other than Rapha (maybe that's just marketing/my awareness). Since then the only other ones I've seen are just as expensive.
Good merino base layers all tend to cost similar amounts and there aren't really many options cheaper than Rapha.
