  • Fixed for my GF

Geo is a bit Dosnoventa, but it´s great fun to ride it

  • That looks great! She riding brakeless too?

  • You made it sound like it's a good thing.

  • Coming from the forumite formerly known as Nowhere Fast I think it's quite fitting....

Was that the person responsible for that whole orbit lopro polava?

  • ^^^Currently yes, i need her decision for handlebar setup (pic is from first ride), then i'll mount a brake for the german cops...

  • Geo is a bit Dosnoventa deserves rep

  • then i'll mount a brake for those situations when you wish you had a brake

ftfy, you'll miss her when she's gone.

  • agreed

  • Wait, what - who is Nowhere Fast?

    Aches and pains.

this all makes so much sense now

  • ex rogan? nais

  • oui oui,

Nicer than when I had it by far

  • Rid of the rear light and I'd put it in porn.

  • Lovely indeed!

  • Rid of the rear light and I'd put it in porn.

Now that is a complement! thank guys

still needs a few finishing touches, then i'll take it for a proper photoshoot

  • Just gonna ignore what's going on above. I reckon this is finished now, if I was going to change anything it'd be to get a DA headset and seatpost but neither of those are priorities right now.
Looking aaiiight, I reckon. Went with the veloflex in the end as I think they'll feel better at HH as they can go to higher pressures. GP4000s felt sluggish as fuck down there last week (might have been my fat arse though).
May have to adjust the stem height as well, will see on Saturday.

Oh, one more job, just gonna drill some holes for bottle mounts.

Just <7kg according to bathroom scales..

Could also do with getting a new camera...

I think I saw you on this on Saturday actually when I was doing some bike perving at Herne Hill. There were some really nice bikes being paraded in the basic session.

How big is it? It looks very different in size from your short-lived GW experiment

  • Lovely set up of the Gitane A+P!

Yeah, that was me. There were some nice bikes down there, aye.
Size wise, I thought this was a 56 square but actually measured the seat tube the other day and it's 58 (56 on the top). It's pretty much perfect though, which has made me think about my sizing preferences.

Yeah yeah, the Graham Weighs... I have been buying them with the idea of making them fit or passing them on to friends. I just sold the track one, hopefully the road one is going soon.

I actually only measured the Maxi Sports because I noticed how tall it looked next to my new concorde, which is a 55/56.

Bit pissed about the sizing, as there's a Roberts I'm trying to get a deal on but I'm concerned that it's going to be too small now.

(Going with risers and a lower ratio on this, as 49x17 was horrible yesterday. It's a LOT heavier than the Maxi sports which I was commuting on a few weeks ago, despite the size difference).

  • Any chance any one has one of these that i could borrow/rent or buy? only need it for one ride.

LOL. Didn't you used to have a brakeless bike with fucking stoker brake hoods?
