This is faded black tape. My friend has black Neubaums on his Stratos and it's faded / worn to a dark brown.

Lovely colour. The buid is pretty cool. I could imagine my wife would love it (if the rack was replaced with a metal basket) and want it.

Looks like faded black photographed in warm sun in those last two pics.

Based on my aubergine coloured Newbaulms, the colour fades and dulls quickly.

But I do like the way it does.
