  • Sorry this probably isn't the right place to ask this but in lack of a better thread; anyone on here know a Daniel Stuth, located in London? Him or someone imposing as him contacted me after seeing my WTB add here or on pedalroom and I ended up buying a Paul Donohue frameset (http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/paul-donohue-853-track-frame-fixed-gear-black-vvgc-with-njs-headset/1012522296), along with cranks and stem off of him.

Story - it's been 12 working days and I haven't received anything, longest I've waited for a package from the UK has been 5 days. He didn't seem sketchy at all (wrote in good english, provided me extra pictures of everything I asked) and answered my emails quickly at first but after the payment it's been a bit quiet. He won't answer what it was shipped through, but if it were shipped through Royal Mail by land (that might the cheapest option?), is there a chance the package might still arrive? At this point I'm thinking I'll give him a week more and then file a dispute via paypal. Any help is appreciated.

Here's his other ads on gumtree: http://www.gumtree.com/sellerads/1012522296

E: all the other ads disappeared after me posting this thread, still no answer to my email. I'm calling bullshit.

Update on the case discussed last page; he sent me an email a couple of hours ago telling me that the post office contacted him and told him that the package hasn't left the office yet. How would that even be possible, after three weeks?

I would say bullshit too, he was contacted by the post office? Never heard of that. Or did he contact the post office? In that case request for the tracking number?

In any case, you have 28 days to file a PayPal dispute, make sure you dont let this lapse! Best of luck in getting your bike/money back.
