There is a colour matcher on the Pantone website although I'm not sure how well it works with metallic chips. Also, Buckroo is right, you're much more likely to find a match (that is of use, if it's for a respray etc) in a RAL guide.

its not a respray, I am ordering a frame, and I can specify a pantone colour, so the RAL wont help much, i have the pantone metallic premium pallette, but I cant seem to find that dark delicious tone of misty woods

You won't find it in a Pantone book as its most likely not a Pantone... You might find something close... Pantone is for print. RAL is for paint. They will just match the Pantone by eye...

I am trying to find a pantone id for island green metallic, has been used in the green cannondale tracks, bmw color 273
Hope someone can help, even after my extensive search in ze internet
