Foolishly mentioned to dimi earlier in the week that i was tempted to chase down the hipster brighton ride after the intermediate track session. he immediately said he was up for it, so i had no way to wimp out.
So we rode out from london on our track bikes in to a headwind with tired legs at midday a few hours after the main ride had left, but we made good time (mainly from not stopping, rather than actual speed). Caught up with the ride at Turners Hill and managed to grab some food and a few pints to refuel.
The ride from turner's hill as 'Swine mentions above was a bit full on;. But awesome! torrential rain, mist and crosswind made it a completely different experience from every time I've ridden to Brighton before, and made me glad to have done it.
