Joss, bro, I would never interrupt traffic for people to pass, all we try to do is keep everyone together... As you saw we waited often, and tried to keep everyone together. It's difficult under normal circumstances, the weather and poor visibility made it a lot more difficult yesterday. I actually feel terrible about what happened, we should've been there for you. We waited just off the turn to the ditchling for about 15 mins, we discussed it and figured you must've gone another route as we'd not ridden long since the road works.

Next time I organize a ride, I will ensure I have everyone's number first.I couldn't believe I didn't have yours.

Hope it wasn't too much of a bad experience for you, sounds a nightmare and I have been there myself.

All I can do is apologize for not coming back and searching for you, I should've done.

I loved what I did. I was one of the slowest in the group and was grateful the rest of you waited as often as you did. I honestly couldn't ask more of any of you.

All's well that ends well, i'm unscathed bar a few bruises, my bikes okay and everyone is home happy if not pretty wet.
Next time I'll have some numbers and maybe a real phone I can track the route on.
