Bar end brake levers for Mavic bullhorns?

Just got some ITM off the forum but they are too big; seems Mavic are the odd one out as the levers fit a all my other bars.

Remember using modelling foam in college and paint just dissolved it completely.

Yeah, I'd think that water based acrylic would be safe enough, but anything with slightly more exiting chemical properties may leave you with some straps, and the plastic shell.

I think you be hard pressed to find a road drop with 173mm.

Deepest drop AFAIK is the 3T Rotundo (add -17 stem too), but I'm sure there's something out there that does have at least 150mm.

It's just for using on the track so levers isn't an option. I'll look at the Rotundos though. The Deda bars are fine really, I was just wondering if there was an alternative which might be more comfortable for riding on the tops.

Couple of conflicting answers across the forurm, Alpina track fork, can it be drilled?

It can, but it isn't always easy. Some people report that the blanking/reinforcing screw falls out as soon as you look at it, but mine was well fixed in and had to be drilled out; drilling a steel screw out of an aluminium fork crown isn't easy.

I fucked my wrist "proper" riding brakeless on the road with those Deda track drops- due to the angle it puts your hands at when riding on the tops.
