Ah shit that'll definetely be it then, I had considered this when buying the BB but every online retailer I was looking at only seemed to be selling the 107mm. Evidently I was looking in the wrong places, thanks again!

If you need a 109, Tokyo Fixed have the Sugino 75 BB at £48 in a sale at the moment. Mine arrived today, mielec still on order, hope it bloody fits now :unsure:

I'm using Miche cranks with 107 mm BB (FSA) and it fits perfectly.
Website says 107.

I'd like to clarify, Primato cranks have converted over to JIS.

Ordered some from Parker, says right below the dust cover 'JIS'. Contacted Parker to ask and they said the Miche rep told them their cranks have been changed to JIS.

So, best thing to do is look at the cranks if you get them, if they say JIS on them, they're JIS, if not, then they're an old batch of ISO.

oops.. when did that happen?

Didn't tester mention something about them changing but not updating the labelling on some of their stuff?

ok so my cranks are definetely the JIS version, or at least it says so on the crank arm so according to sheldon brown thats why i had a problem with the clearence when i fitted them onto a 107mm iso bottom bracket. So with this in mind should they work with a 107mm JIS bottom bracket or should I go for a bigger axle width just to be on the safe side.

IIRC, mine went on the Pre Cursa with just about the tightest clearance with a 110 BB, so might need to go a little longer though depends on the stays.

Does anyone know if mielec can use fat square tubing?

I'm thinking of building something similar to a gangsta witha fuckload of gussets, fat pipes and compact geo.

Has it not been decided already that your T-Rex proportions don't really suit compact geo frames?

Technically compact geo would fit him well if the geometry is idea.

Especially when you're building a very large frame.
