If they are a particularly leggy rider, could be to give some more knee space when out of the saddle?
You tend to lean the bike towards the "up" side when out of the saddle, so you're extremely unlikely to hit your own bar end.

Rock n' Roll Sweetheart
I like it too. I love that she did her own paint job and that she's happy with it - nowhere near my style but also not my business. For me it's certainly not porn (just look at VB's Mather... jaw dropping...) but I'm glad I've seen it. Put it in current projects and maybe tell us a bit more about the design process for the frame if it's an interesting story.

Agree would be nice to hear about design process :)

I had somehow missed VB's Mather thread until now. And I had only just talked myself OUT of a custom frame in favour of a power meter...

This was to be expected. Not that she cares one bit about what other people think, she just rides it and enjoys it:
:) awesome
you got her into cycling? -

That is literally my dream bike

the saddle is meant to be numberd, this is 40 of 110 or something, and he soaked the cinelli bar wrap in tea, and had the ram stripe color changed, it does look good in t'flesh
he's also got a stork phneonminamahely in a
like a matt white
I'll test this for him properly / -

He tea bagged his bike?
Committed.
-
• #75522
Nope.
No pedals, no bar tape, wrong bars, wrong headset -

Ah, well, a matter of taste. She's happy with it, the people at the pro paintshop are very impressed, her teachers in art school are impressed and several people who are lining up to let her paint their bike frames too are equally impressed. But you're entitled to your opinion. The above pics were pre-clearcoat, this is the final result.
i do something similar with my road bike.....still wainting that my girlfriend post it in porn...

Intricate craftsmanship.
