2013-04-26 Coureur du Monde launch - free beer and frites

Some Belgian friends are bringing their cycle themed clothing Coureur du Monde to London with a launch promising free beer and frieten in Shoreditch. They've got a Facebook invite but you'll also find details below. Should be a good way to unwind at the end of the week, particularly if the weather is good.

Our front and back pockets are stuffed with:

✔ freshly cut fries

have a well-earned Belgian beer
nibble on some fresh fries

I love the sound of Belgian beer, bikes and frites but fear it will be overrun with hipsters : /

I can read, I'm just wondering why? You could also put in shoulder pads as a 'unique signature', but do they serve any purpose? Would one put a map or route card on their chest? Usually when I'm riding I want as much ventilation as possible in that area, not an extra layer of fabric for a massive pocket which doesn't look practical or comfortable to use.

not saying that I'd want front pockets, but jerseys in the early 20th c had front pockets right? a nod to them?
