  • I don't really have any evidence for this, but I reckon* that I actually lose more weight when going to the gym to lift weights than I do when riding for 1.5-2 hours per day in a structured training plan.

    When I stopped drinking and decided to get fit I was 82.7kg, I've been down to 75 since at the end of a pretty serious gym addiction- going 6-7 times a week.

    Now the bulk of my training is cycling the weight seems to keep going up.
