Very well, wider tyres last longer, especially in those pattern that reduced the chance of something getting embedded.
It doesn't have any of those puncture resistance belt or anything, but I'm happy to have a bit of puncture in order to have better ride quality, like the Grand Bois 32c Cypres I've used from London to Morocco and only got 4 punctures.
