I just had this problem with long city riding socks.
Managed to find online retailers with them in stock. Contact Rapha "sorry, we can't supply you with socks". Contact reseller with stock "Sorry, we're not allowed to sell them to you unless you come into the store at the other end of the/completely separate country". Long story, but I really need these socks. Looks like I'm going to have to order them in Switzerland and have them posted to a business in Switzerland and then have a friend over there go pick them up and then forward them on.
