  • Sorry to hear that man! Hope the dent in your face and the top tube aren't too bad?

    Sucks :-(

  • Ouch. BLB king hub fail

    Chain tensioners for ya boy

  • :( healthefuckup

  • new cane creek drop v-levers and a black 3/32 wippermann chain are on the way, shimano deore xt pedals are already here.

  • new right lever, new chain and a new saddle.

shimano xt-pedals are also here, will try them later.

  • first cold ride. bike handles well, set-up and parts are great.

  • after my really first crossride i get the next puncture on the way home.
those tires are great for crossing, but really bad for commuting.
as i will use the bike more for the city over the summer i ordered schwalbe sammy slicks (700x35). will also install the clipless pedals for the next weekend.

  • i'm following this thread already some time but now i took the time to make an account on lfgss, i have to say that this frame is awesome!

  • in a huge pink cube

  • cool pic!

  • pink cube pic is ace

  • found the easiest and most stable solution for the things i always carry to work.

  • currently thinking about switching to a disc fork.
sent jacek an email just to get a feeling if it's cheaper if he would only add the disc mounts and repaint the fork or build a new fork instead.

  • did I miss a picture of it with mudguards on?

  • no, as the weather is still nice. but i'm also curious how it will look like. mudgards are waiting in the basement since months.

  • Been following this for some time but never mentioned how much i love this. My tarckbike feels limited and boring in contrast to something like this.
May i ask how much Orlowski charged for it? Already had a custom frame built by Rychtarski and would be good to know if he is on par with Orlowski.

  • quoted for awesomeness. I love this bike.

  • paid 700euro incl shipping for it. how much is rychtarski asking for a custom frame?

jacek replied: new fork will cost 130euro, rebuilding the current on is 80euro.

was on a little cyclocross-forest-ride today and had time to think about my whole bike inventory. i think i will leave the orlowski as it is and buy myself a new disc cross bike instead of the pelizzoli leggenda.
i'm not sure if i want a geared cx bike or one with a belt drive (i still fukking like those raleigh hodala)

  • Why do you want disc brakes so bad?

  • 'cause it's rad, that's why.

Cool. Well it's about the same then. Just ordered a frame in Zona, Fillet brazed and stainless dropouts + paint and shipping for about 800€.

  • than it's a bit more, but still a great price.

@kjlem: pure brake power and for the look :)
