The fact is Chalfie, that your entire contribution to this forum is to troll and spout your angry little invective. You have quit and then returned under a different pseudonym at least twice because you just can't let a day go by without spitting out some more bile-filled hatred.
You might very well learn, if you studied the effect that sinking the Belgrano had, that your father returned alive from the Falklands precisely because it was sunk.
Personally i like your other contributions enough to forgive you your obvious toryness, but you're being every bit as spiteful to Chalfie as he is to you.

I'm no expert but the way i read the Belgrano was a grubby tragic fuck-up. Trying to claim the moral high ground we drew an exclusion area on a map that didn't actually do the job. The Argentine commanders took us at our word and tried to exploit that, then it dawned on us we were too weak to fight cleanly. And a lot of innocent conscripts paid. Real blame reaches further back to those on both sides who created the situation.
