RIP. This has really taken the air out me. I've been rather timid to get back on my road bike after a frightening scrape with a lorry. Today was my first ride in a long while and I loved it. Hearing this is heartbreaking. It makes me think about the whole 'power in numbers' ideal. How can we do it without the support of those that run the roads? And I mean real support - peak hour lorry bans, jail for killing a cyclist and not just a £250 fine. My thoughts are with the riders family.
