You'll have just missed me, I was there till 20 past then gave up and went home.
It's the netball court on the left after the little basketball thing. You have to go in and ask for the keys if it's not open

Its funny cos in the north we all have this 'view' that there are 8.4 million polo players in london and they have to que up to use the courts, but in actual fact it seems like no-one ever plays polo in london? I was down a few weeks ago and not one single game going in the whole city :(

There were games in Hackney Downs and we thought you would show up but you didnt!

Thursday the 4th was the last day of RBKC subsidised bike polo at Westway. The council does not (unfortunately) have unlimited funds and are not able to extend the booking.
Should you be interested in contributing a few quid each week to play at Westway, please let me know. There are several ways we could proceed, so if you have any ideas or feedback, please also let me know!
Many thanks RBKC!

Bikeminded has supported the West London Bike Polo sessions for 12 months now. It’s been great to see so many new players getting to play for the first time, but the time has come for us to take a break from booking the ‘best court in London’ so April 4 was our last court booking for the time being.
We are talking to LHBPA about plans for the future, and players can of course still book the ‘netball court’ by calling Westway on 020 3468 5576. The loaner bikes, mallets and goals will remain at the Westway and available for your use. Please look after them. We hope to be back with future polo plans, so do keep an eye out for an announcement in the coming months.
Regards. Bikeminded

Pity it went out with a whimper.
I'll throw in some cash if we can get enough people together.

FAO any westies who want to play locally. This is an email from Henry, the organiser of the bike polo that they do on the big pitch. The last time we were there they were playing with wooden mallets and a small football, but I think they were going to move towards a smaller ball.
The pitch has been booked for 3 Wednesdays (15th/22nd/29th) at 7pm in a row on the 8 a side pitch at the Westway in Notting Hill.
Please can you let me know which games you are in for. It will not cost more than £5-10 per head, depending on numbers (hopefully £5). We are limited to 10 players on the this pitch, so get your response in early as the players list now extends to over 50 people.
His email address is: henry AT robertfraser -dot- co -dot- uk
The game they play is different from ours - kind of a mashed version of grass and hardcourt, but still fairly fast and furious.

From Kensington and Chelsea...
We are very pleased to announce that we will be hosting the return of the West London Bike Polo Open Sessions at the Westway Sports Centre on Thursday evenings from 7-10pm starting Thursday 15 August 2013.
Most people bring along their own bike, however as previously, we have provided a limited number of loaner bikes, mallets and polo balls. Note too that these sessions are FREE TO ATTEND.
These sessions are for people of all abilities and experience, from those who would like to try bike polo for the first time to those who’ve played in polo tournaments before. Everybody is very welcome.

Had a look round about half-seven and didn't see anyone. Is it one of the courts on the left of the walkway from Bramley road to where the climbing wall is?
