It was a deciding factor in my purchase too.
Apparently, it is asked a lot.
If you look at the dimensions of the mini messenger when closed:
50 x 25 x 10cm
...and compare them to the 15" MBP:
36.4 x 24.9 x 2.41cm
...you'll get your answer:
YES
Saw a few forumengers sporting these yesterday on The London Classic and they looked great. I can't wait for mine to arrive.
I'll no doubt end up getting the daysack as well I imagine.
